At the IM Strong Foundation, our strength comes from both personal experience and professional expertise. We are more than an organization — we are a family who has lived through the challenges of Infantile Myofibromatosis and is committed to making the journey easier for others.
Together, our team combines backgrounds in psychology, cancer data research, marketing, statistics, and social work. But most importantly, we bring compassion, resilience, and firsthand knowledge of what it means to face IM.

Passionate about building awareness and community, Elise leads the foundation’s marketing and outreach efforts.
As a mother of two children diagnosed with IM, she brings a unique blend of lived experience, creativity, and determination to connect families and amplify their voices.
Susan Bolton

​​With a background in psychology and cancer data research at Wayne State University and the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Susan brings decades of professional expertise to the foundation. As both a carrier of the IM gene and a grandmother to children living with IM, she is deeply committed to advancing research, supporting families, and ensuring no one faces this journey alone.
